Result of AGM
Lotus Resources Plc, a company engaged in the development of fluorspar mining and exploration projects in Mongolia and China, is pleased to announce that at the Company's Annual General Meeting, held today, all resolutions were duly passed.
Simon Longworth, Chief Executive, commented:
"In the past few months the Company has made significant progress with four joint ventures signed, including an offtake contract for our output, production commenced and initial revenues received. In addition we have raised monies that allow us to increase the production levels and negotiate further joint venture agreements.
"Our aim is to maximise output and therefore income for Lotus whilst maintaining low overheads. We have taken the first step towards developing a profitable fluorspar mining and processing business in an area of the world that offers significant potential opportunities.
"In addition to the progress made so far Lotus has a number of other fluorspar exploration and mining initiatives under negotiation which may or may not come to fruition."
